Charity Commission
We have extensive experience in dealing with the Charity Commission in aspects of its work. We act for charities in defending criticism from the Charity Commission in its regulatory capacity, on the way in which the charity runs its affairs, or perhaps against accusations that the charity trustees are in breach of their obligations or duties in some way.
We can assist in applying for schemes for the release of trust money, where the objects of an old trust have, over the years, become impossible to fulfil, or for schemes to empower trustees to spend trust money where no provisions for its final expenditure are given in the trust deed. We are also used to establishing and registering charities with the Charity Commission. |
