Commercial Dispute Resolution

Disputes happen to -or threaten- all organisations from time to time. The appropriate response may be aggressive or consiliatory. Speed may be vital. The starting-point must be objective, level-headed advice about all options with emphasis on preventing or terminating the dispute. We set out to analyse the facts, the law and the procedure with four principles in mind: clear thinking, plain English, cost-effectiveness and common sense. Preserving commercial relations where possible is very important.

We aim to establish a clear objective and then, in collaboration with the client to work with enthusiasm and conviction towards achieving the set objective, adopting a constructive hands-on approach which encourages the flow of information and ideas. While at the same time maintaining dispassionate realism about strengths and weaknesses for discussions with the client.
