Carter Lemon Camerons LLP celebrates its centenary

City of London Law Firm Carter Lemon Camerons (CLC) marked its centenary this week by hosting a party at the House of Commons Pavilion Terrace.

Carter Lemon Camerons LLP celebrates its centenary

CLC began life in 1915 when George Coppleston Carter set up his own law firm in Arundel Street just off London’s Strand. Lemon & Partners joined in 1989 from Mayfair, and the firm became Carter Lemon Camerons when the London partners of Camerons joined in 2000. The firm became an LLP in 2007 and moved to its present location at 10 Aldersgate Street in 2008. A year later in 2009, Metson Cross joined forces from Chancery Lane enabling CLC to provide a breadth of legal services for commercial and private clients.

Stuart Brennan, Senior Partner, said: “The House of Commons provided an historic venue for an historic occasion and it was wonderful that so many of our valued clients could attend as, after all, without their loyalty and support none of this would have been possible.”
