CLC Partner lends her expertise to Brexit conference

Carter Lemon Camerons’ Partner Kate Boguslawska was recently invited to speak at a conference on Brexit, which took place in Krakow.

Kate, who regularly advises on immigration and residency matters, took part in a panel discussion on business strategies for Polish businesses post Brexit.

The conference, which was organised by a London-based firm of chartered accountants, heard from a range of professionals on matters related to Brexit and how this will affect Polish businesses operating in the UK or trading with UK businesses.

Kate said: “Brexit is a unique political and economic phenomenon, which poses a range of challenges and opportunities for Polish businesses that have developed increasingly close links with the UK since Poland’s accession to the EU in 2004.

“The panel was a great opportunity to debate the strategies Polish businesses will need to adopt ahead of the UK’s withdrawal from the EU to protect the trade links they have already developed and to take advantage of any new opportunities that Brexit may bring.”

She is set to take part in a further conference discussing the implications of Brexit for Polish businesses later this month.
