Carter Lemon Camerons is a City-based law firm located at 3rd Floor, 20 King Street, London, EC2V 8EG, right across from the historic Guildhall and just a stone’s throw from iconic landmarks like St. Paul’s Cathedral and the Bank of England.

Our journey began in 1915 in Kingston upon Thames under the name George C. Carter & Co., founded by the visionary George Copplestone Carter. In 1959, we made our move to London, and in 2021, we relocated to our current offices, further solidifying our presence in the heart of the capital.

The evolution continued in 1989 when we merged with the prestigious Mayfair firm of Lemon & Partners, becoming Carter Lemon. The turn of the millennium saw us expand once again, as the London partners of Camerons joined forces with us in 2000, and Carter Lemon Camerons was born.

In 2008, we embraced the future as a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP). The following year, we joined forces with Metson Cross, significantly broadening our service offerings in both commercial and private client law. Our growth continued in 2020 with the exciting merger with Sookias & Sookias, further enhancing our ability to serve our clients with expertise across a wide range of legal fields.
