This visa is for partners of British citizens or individuals settled in the UK. To qualify, both partners must be over 18, have met in person, be legally married or in a civil partnership, and intend to live together permanently.

You must show adequate maintenance without public funds, have suitable accommodation, and meet the English language requirement. The financial requirement includes a gross income of £18,600, with additional income for non-British children.

This visa normally leads to settlement after five years.
